Once we’ve received your order we’ll send you an email confirmation. This outlines all product specifications and the amount payable invoice. If your order is correct and you are happy to go ahead we will await your payment.
As each piece is made to order we ask for full payment on placement of any order and before work starts. We accept payment by Paypal, bank transfer or cheques made payable to Artistic Metals.
Our lead times are usually between 4-6 weeks but may sometimes be quicker and very occasionally a little longer. If you require a piece sooner than 4 weeks then let us know and will do our best to deliver.
Delivery free within 40 miles
We offer free delivery within an approximate 40 mile radius of Uckfield. Areas include Brighton, Hove, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Crawley, East Grinstead, Oxted, Lewis, Bexhill, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and South London.
Customers are also free to collect direct from our Uckfield workshop or to organise their own courier.
We always use a courier service that is experienced in delivering furniture, to ensure you will receive your order in perfect condition. Please contact us for a quote to deliver within the UK mainland. Our Post and Packing charge will depend on the buyer’s location. Northern Ireland, Highlands and remote parts will carry and additional surcharge.
Please ensure someone will be available to receive delivery on the arranged date and time. Further delivery costs will be charged if we are unable to make delivery and have to re-arrange. We will always where possible try to arrange as small a time slot as possible for delivery.
If we deliver
When we deliver we will assemble the furniture (if required) wherever you wish. We will take away all packaging and polish where necessary. If you are happy we will then ask you to sign the delivery document. Following delivery we contact you to check you are satisfied with your furniture and our service.
If a courier delivers
When the courier delivers your furniture they will unpack and place it wherever you require within reasonable ease. Please inspect the furniture thoroughly and if you are happy with your item a signature will be required on receipt of goods. Please check that your furniture has not been damaged in transit before signing the couriers pad. In the unlikely event your furniture is damaged, refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
Claims for damaged goods signed for in good condition will not be accepted. You must notify us of any damage within 24hrs of receiving goods. For any other issues please contact us within 14 days of arrival.
We hope you will be very happy with the product you have ordered from us. However if for any reason you are not, please contact us as soon as possible. Acceptance of all unwanted returns is at our discretion.
Return postage for unwanted/undamaged items is to be paid for by the buyer and a refund will be given once the items (actual item sale amount only), have been inspected at our workshop, but will not include postage or courier fees to and from the buyer. The item must be returned in the original condition and packaging (where applicable) as it was sent. All our rights reserved.
